The Beauty Of Our Journey
Hello, we’re back again! It is quite stressful at the moment but we’d love to share something small with you. Sometimes I doesn’t need more than a cup full. A cup full of love, a cup full of friendship, a cup full of support or a cup full of change in habits in order to make a difference. So why not try to pass your cups on in the next few weeks? As we have to witness from the last few months, this world needs a lot of cups right now! We are praying for Japan and what’s going on in the north of Africa.
We love snow! And since it’s winter we thought it to be a good idea dedicating a painting to this lovely snow outside (well it’s already melting again, so maybe it’s more a goodbye) Snow looks great – everything looks nice and clean, as long as no car polluted it, the landscapes seem to become more peacefull and idyllic, BUT the best thing about snow is the sound. Can you hear the snow? When you’re walking on snowy pathways, especially early in the morning, when it’s dark and only street lamps give a little light… Everything becomes quiet, time seems to stop and the world seems to fade… well until we arrived the train station

today we have a bubbly picture for you. It was part of a competition entry on deviantart. Wouldn’t it be cool to blow air bubbles under water? Well it is quite impossible – as far as I know - but hey, art makes the impossible possible. (This does remind me of an advertising slogan…) Do you have an idea that seems impossible in reality? Then email us and maybe we can make your dream come true. Your dream factory is right around the corner (okay, this post reminds me a lot of an advertisment, only the low voice from TV is missing

Today’s Christmas Day and we have every reason to celebrate! Enjoy your feasts and we hope you can experience what christmas really is about… It’s not only about the nicely wrapped parcel under the tree or family gatherings, isn’t it? But since we love gifts and we think it to be a very nice way of showing appreciation we have a little present for you guys – enjoy our delicious cupcake.
What? There’s no art?! So what is this blog about…? Good question. Maybe this quote strucks you a bit in the first moment. “Art” is something great, a source of inspiration – but also something people have been arguing about for AGES! I think Gombrich is perfectly right. You could compare the term “art” with a box, let’s say a little, cute shoe box. Everybody’s filling different things in this box: Some people want “art” to be provocative and irritating, or at least they think “art” is like that. Other people think “art” to be technically outstanding. Other people wish “art” to be moving and (life)transforming. Sometimes it seems, “art” is defined by the name not really by the content and others just want to enjoy. There might be thousands of little boxes all over the place. Imagine the huge shoe cabinet we would need! As you can see, it’s all about defining the term. And then the people meet and start to talk about “art” – with totally different ideas of “art” in their box – and in the worst case they go for eachothers throats. Hard luck. And totally pointless, isn’t it? So be an artist. Create. Create your idea of “art”. And don’t take yourself respectively your little box too serious. We think “art” to be inspiring, something to enjoy, to dig deeper, unveiling and revealing. What is your definition of “art”?
Good morning mates
Autumn is back. Foggy weather, the temperature doesn’t allow to wear t-shirts and shorts anymore – but for some reasons the trees are no longer interested in their leafy outfits. Yes, autumn is in the house! Well, at least there, where we live. A lot of people seem to get very grumpy in this season – the weather’s just too bad, they say. But for some reason we love this foggy weather! I didn’t know how to explain our kinda uncommon preference for a long time, more than a few people looked a bit cross ’bout this fact. But then it hit me! [insert heroic music here] Overcast skies and thick fog are the perfect, natural blank canvas! Loads and loads of space, only waiting to be filled with your creativity! Isn’t this great? It absolutely is. If you don’t feel very creative at the moment, then it’s a perfect place to let your thoughts wander. Completely undisturbed. So the next time you step into the foggy autumn weather: Don’t let yourself get badtempered and please don’t pull this awful long face. It’s definitively not worth it. But instead: use your imagination!
